Lots of books

I am reading many fabulous books right now:

Blink: The Power of Thinking Without Thinking, by Malcolm Gladwell

Savage Inequalities, Jonathon Kozal (It's about time!)

The Mindful Brain, by Dan Siegel (Rereading it for my thesis)

Ahab's Wife, by Sena Jeter Naslund (I needed a novel to mix it up)

In the next few weeks I hope to read:

Doing School: How We are Creating a Generation of Stressed-Out, Materialistic, and Miseducated Students, by Denise Pope

Updated Summer Reading List

The Magician's Assistant, by Ann Patchett was a fun read, but I loved Bel Canto by Panchett much more. I just finished Water for Elephants, by Sara Gruen. It was a fabulous book. Definitely my favorite so far this summer. It was witty and incredibly well-written. I found myself laughing out loud at times, and couldn't put the book down. Read it!
